2 Day Deep immersive Drum birthing experience. Glass House Mountains

Over the 2 day experience aligned with Imbolc, (the traditional start of Spring on the pagan wheel of the year) you will learn traditional drum making techniques to craft a 15 inch wild goat frame drum, needle felt your drum beater and learn about the ‘herstory’ of drumming and the uses of the frame drum.

Goat as a spirit animal or the medicine of a goat skin drum, is of stability and balance, adventure, letting go of expectation and living life to its fullest. Because it is so agile and can climb high in rocky terrain - it has the advantage of seeing the bigger picture and of perspective.

We will be deep diving into your birth imprint as a framework for the inner journey, the exploration of self - the unconscious patterns that play out in your life - through crafting your own shamanic medicine drum. The space is held safely and with sacred intention to allow reflection and uncover/discover patterns that can hinder living your life

Spaces are limited to 8 women, to ensure the space is held sacred and in safety - to foster connection and deep inner exploration.

All materials are supplied (except your drum beater handle - I encourage you to forage one for yourself)

2 Day Deep immersive Drum birthing experience. Glass House Mountains

Over the 2 day experience (Imbolc the Arrival of Spring) you will learn traditional drum making techniques to craft a 15 inch wild goat frame drum, needle felt your drum beater and learn about the ‘herstory’ of drumming and the uses of the frame drum.

Goat as a sprit animal or the medicine of a goat skin drum, is of stability and balance, adventure, letting go of expectation and living life to its fullest. Because it is so agile and can climb high in rocky terrain - it has the advantage of seeing the bigger picture and of perspective.

We will be deep diving into your birth imprint as a framework for the inner journey, the exploration of self - the unconscious patterns that play out in your life - through crafting your own shamanic medicine drum. The space is held safely and with sacred intention to allow reflection and uncover/discover patterns that can hinder living your life

Spaces are limited to 6 women, to ensure the space is held sacred and in safety - to foster connection and deep inner exploration.

All materials are supplied (except your drum beater handle - I encourage you to forage one for yourself)

Come and connect with other women on this Dark Moon. It’s a time to release anything from the cycle before ready to call in our intentions for the coming lunar cycle, connect with other women and deeply connect with yourself. This is a divine ceremony.

This is an intimate gathering where women have the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe space, free of judgement. Here you’ll learn the art of holding space for others - deep heartfelt listening and witnessing others.

What to expect:

Sit in sacred circle with other women, share from the heart and be witnessed, an opportunity of reflection and calling in intentions for the month to come. We may share a topic for discussion or allow a theme to develop - the power of circle often shows us what calls to be uncovered. Circle is such a nourishing ceremony, when women gather and connect our oxytocin hormone is released and this is our connection and relationship/love hormone. This is why we feel so good when we connect with other women!

Winter Drum Crafting Retreat

Held warmly in a Maleny cottage hideaway over the Full Moon weekend in June 2023 four new drum keepers will be born!

Over the weekend you will be gently held through a number of processes and experiences to birth your medicine drum, a felted drum beater and medicine pouch (as one of my mentors, Raven, says "everyone needs a place to hold their magic!") During the weekend we will also weave a small raffia basket - this could be a talking bowl for circle sharing or any other purpose.

Every little detail is covered. Lots of nourishing food, a warm fireplace and wonderful company.

Sitting in Circle, weaving/crafting with your hands is as old as time - the circle is sharman, we hear our own thoughts, feelings, words reflected back at us. This is MEDICINE! The act of holding space, listening with the ears of our heart, without judgment or the need to 'fix' or add our story is essential for the healed sisterhood - we need to be the change we want to see and it starts with us, right now!

Limited to 4 women to keep this experience small and intimate, you’ll feel so relaxed and extremely nourished after this weekend!

We will combine a Dark Moon womens circle with a focus on letting go and a conversation about body image and finding peace and love in our own skin. Cacao + Cards - a ritual to welcome 2023

A morning of celebration and ceremony. We will gather in circle, holding the year as it closes in sacred honouring - witnessing each other as we share the highs and lows - the light and the shadows. We will call in the new year with an oracle card spread, lots of time for journalling and morning tea. This is such a fun morning a time to celebrate ourselves and connect with other women. Last year’s ceremony was such a beautiful day!
